What does Switchd cost?
Nothing to you, and nothing added to your bill. You pay the carrier's own business pricing with no markup. Carriers pay us a referral commission when an order places. Nothing is added to your bill.
Is the instant check accurate?
It shows which providers report service near that address. It's a reliable starting list, not a guarantee of speed or price. Dedicated fiber carriers are quoted by default whether or not they appear in it. Pricing comes from the carriers themselves, usually within two business days.
Are you a carrier or a reseller?
Neither. We're independent. We don't own a network and we don't resell service; your contract is with the carrier you pick, at the carrier's business pricing. We stay carrier-agnostic and look out for what's best for you, not for the carrier.
We're mid-contract. Is it worth looking?
Usually. We'll quote now so you know your options, flag your renewal window, and time the switch so you aren't paying two carriers.
Will a carrier salesperson call me?
No. Your details stay with us. We request quotes on your behalf and the carrier hears from you when you decide to order.
Who handles the install?
The carrier installs the circuit. We make sure they have your site details and the right contact so the install gets scheduled. Configuring your firewall, moving phones, cutting over from the old carrier: that's your IT or MSP, or our Tech Migration service if you'd rather we did it.
